Vietnamese white marble services in Bangalore right now: Natural stones are a product of the Earth that result from geological changes and mineral compositions that have been occurring for millions of years. Since the formations are natural, the stones have no date of birth nor an expiry date. These materials are quarried from the Earth’s surface and throughout history they have been used as a prime building material for timeless monuments that are still standing today. This is a true testament to the strength, durability and endless lustre of the stones. Today, many homeowners opt for natural stone over other building materials for a variety of reasons. These versatile materials can be used both indoor and outdoor in various places, including flooring, wall cladding, bathroom, pooja room, countertop, walkway/driveway, landscaping, timeless monuments and more. There are endless benefits and there is no limit to what you can do with natural stones. Not only are they unique, rare and beautiful, but they are also durable, easy to maintain, environmentally friendly, versatile and aesthetic. Find more details at Moduler kitchens. Every natural stone has its own level of required maintenance. Even among granites or marbles, there are variations. However, most granites are lower maintenance than most marbles. For granite, all stones except black should be sealed shortly after installation. A well-sealed stone will bead water on its surface. When the water stops beading, the stone must be resealed. In addition, always wipe up spills as soon as they are seen to prevent potential staining, and wash the stone with a PH-neutral cleanser to prevent etching or removal of the finish.

Remove stains and etching: When cleaning with mild soap and water doesn’t work, or on areas that are “etched,” you’ll need to take more aggressive action. Step up to a cleanser such as Soft Scrub or even Ajax with bleach, applied with an abrasive sponge. That will remove the sealant and allow you to scrub down to the stain. “When you’re done, you’ll find that the area you’ve worked on looks brighter than the rest of your counter,” says Bruno. “So then you need to go on to clean the rest of the counter the same way. Then rinse it thoroughly and let it dry completely—maybe even for a couple of days. Once it’s dry, pour the penetrating sealant all over the surface and spread it around with a soft cloth.”

Large format tile can make a small room feel bigger and a large room feel positively expansive. It immediately makes a bathroom, kitchen, or laundry room feel contemporary and clean. Make sure your tile craftsman knows to make extra-thin grout; chunky grout will ruin the smooth, continuous aesthetic.

“Marble” is a term used by geologists to refer to metamorphosed limestone. It is a metamorphic rock composed of carbonate materials which is formed when limestone in the earth’s crust is subjected to high temperature and pressure. This causes the stone to undergo a metamorphosis stage where the calcite in the limestone recrystallizes and forms calcite crystals changing the texture of the rock. As the metamorphosis stage progresses the crystals become larger and can be seen as interlocking crystals even by unaided eyes. Discover even more information on hmgstones.com.

The “pattern” is larger in marble. The color tends to be fairly consistent with veins running through it that concentrate the color. A gray-blue slab of marble might have darker blue veins; a gray-pink slab might contain veins that are quite rosy-red in color. Beauty is subjective, of course. Get your eyes on a large number of both marble and granite slabs to make the determination of which material you find to be more attractive. Hardness and Durability: Granite is harder than marble, so it is more resistant to chips and scratches. Both materials are heat resistant, though caution should be used with hot pots and pans in the kitchen or hot hair tools in the bathroom.
