How to use a waist trainer

Let’s discuss about how to use your waist trainer. Use a liner. ?It’s important to wear a layer between your body and your corset, our skin has naturally occurring oils and moisture that can affect your corset. And, since corsets are dry clean only, a liner will help to keep your corset smelling and looking fresh! Give our Seamless Bamboo Corset Liners a try! Your corset will need “seasoning.” The first time you lace up your corset, it’s important you DON’T lace it too tightly. Lace your corset so that it is snug. You should be able to easily slide several fingers to your whole hand in the top or bottom of your corset. Ideally, your modesty panel should just reach the other side if your corset, but depending on your natural measurements and “squish factor” your modesty panel may not reach and that is okay! The boning will take on your shape as the corset adjusts to your body. Trying to force the corset too quickly can damage and warp the boning-and cause you some discomfort as well. We have damaged corsets in photo shoots trying to get that fitted look you only achieve after breaking a corset in.

Don’t make your waist trainer too tight. Remember, training takes time. It doesn’t happen overnight. You want your trainer to be just slightly tighter than a normal piece of clothing so that your body gets used to that size. You’ll go down another notch quickly, trust me. Wear something under the trainer. I usually use a thin, undershirt. That’s just to prevent any reactions from sensitivity while helping you to stay comfortable. Actually, you may sweat while you are waist training, so make sure you don’t irritate your skin as you train.

Remember: a waist trainer should never hurt or cause physical pain. If you ever experience this, the waist trainer should be removed instantly. As you steadily increase the amount of time you’re wearing the waist trainer, you can split the sessions into two rather than one continuous period throughout the day. This can make it easier on your body. After no more than a couple of weeks you’ll probably be comfortable enough to wear your waist trainer all day long. We suggest a minimum of six hours to get the best results.

How To Use a Waist Trainer
1. Your body must become accustomed to the constriction of the waist trainer. We recommend that the first few days of wearing the trainer to wear for limited amount of time 2-4 hours per day (depending on how much you feel is comfortable).
2. Gradually add an hour or two to your regime until you are able to wear the trainer through out the entire day.
3. Once the trainer is worn-in you can then begin to use the second set of clasps making the trainer tighter.
4. As you lose weight it will become more comfortable and will not feel as tight.
5. Now you can progress to the next size down as part of your continued weight loss regime. See more info on Waist Trainer Benefits.

What people say about WaistTrain : “Day 6 of wearing my waist trainer from @waisttrain.uk and I’ve already been able to move the hooks in a size smaller!Love that it improves my posture & supports my lower back – especially with sitting at a desk all day!”

Diet is always the most essential part in any weight loss plan. By safely compressing your stomach, waist trainers can effectively curb appetites as the body adjusts to eating smaller portions during meals. Wearing a waist trainer during exercise increases perspiration (which has a cleansing effect, removing toxins and impurities) and helps the body’s thermogenesis process. Improve your posture with waist training as it aids in keeping the body upright. Waist trainers assist those who stand or sit for extended periods of time, keeping you from slouching , helping to relive tension and pain in the back. Waist trainers can be worn underneath your everyday clothes as shapewear to enhance your body. Even exposed they make for a fashionable addition to your outfit especially in conjunction with your usual activewear.
